your personal guide to Gemini szn 👯‍♀️

Hi, Reader!

I keep thinking about what I wrote about in my last email, how all of the zodiac seasons build off one another to help us self-actualize. As I've been sitting with the zodiac seasons in real time for the first time this year (based on the timing of 13 sign astrology rather than the Tropical zodiac), I've been noticing what comes up in each season, and right now it's about what wants to integrate.

It's so easy to constantly seek out new information about things (a very Gemini thing to do btw), but what are you actually integrating?

For me, Taurus season brought up a lot of truths around relationships and career. Things that I didn't necessarily want to face, and outcomes that I needed to let go of. Of course I have big picture visions for my life, but I tend to get stuck on the "how". With my body as my guide, Taurus season showed me that the how isn't always what we thought it would be. And that leads us right into Gemini season....practicing the art of detachment. Gemini's are artists when it comes to detachment 🤣

I had an energy healing session the other day and an eagle came through and my energy healer said, "it's time for you to rise above and see the bigger picture; of your life, of the lessons you're learning right now, of it all". Spiritually speaking, the eagle offers us a higher perspective, which is fitting for Gemini season, being that it's an air sign. I thought about this more and realized that Gemini rules my 11th house, which is related to friendships and networking yes, but it's also related to our bigger vision that we hold for our lives. I'm like...you literally can't make this shit up 😆.

What area of life does Gemini rule in your chart? You can pull your free 13 sign astrology chart here. Make sure to enter your birth time in military time so that you get your accurate chart.

From there, look to see which house, or houses, Gemini rules. This will tell you which area(s) of life will be most affected during this season, or where you can work with Gemini energy. I love looking at this because it helps me cultivate presence within myself based on a deeper connection to the cosmos, the earth, and the sky.

And as a reminder, we're in Gemini season until July 16th in the 13 sign system, because that's where the sun is in the sky. So there's still quite a bit of time for you to enjoy all that this season has to offer!

Here's an example of what a chart looks like and where you can find the house numbers, as well as what Gemini looks like in the chart:

Here's a breakdown of the houses and which area of life they pertain to. If you have questions on this and how to find this in your chart, don't hesitate to reply and ask me! I'm happy to help.

*Note that planetary placements in a chart can also influence how Gemini energy shows up for you in your life*

House 1: The self, personal identity, appearance; how you meet the world. Have you been allowing yourself to approach life with a curious mind? To seek out new experiences, form new connections, and let these interactions gift you more information about yourself that you didn't know before? Is there a new look you've been wanting to try on? Get curious and playful around your personal style, and also around starting anew. Remember that trying on new styles, new ways of being, and new ways of living don't have to stick. Let it be fun; you never know until you try.

House 2: Money, possessions, personal resources, values. When it comes to your finances, are you being logical about the decisions you are making? Where has your curiosity been guiding you when it comes to your financial decisions? Maybe you can invest in something new or try out a new avenue for income? Also, where are you holding on to your possessions? Where do you need to detach from them, and remind yourself where your self-worth really comes from? Self-worth and your values could be coming up strong for you right now. That's because the sun is shining light (literally) on this area of life, asking you to define what your values are. Now could be a great time for a summer time clean up, and to lighten the load when it comes to personal possessions.

House 3: Gemini's natural home! You may find yourself reflecting on things you learned in childhood. Are they still serving you? Do you need to detach from them? How do they influence how you communicate in your current relationships? Did you feel free to express yourself then, and do you feel free to express yourself now? Maybe you've been thinking about starting a blog, writing a book, a YouTube channel, or even a podcast. Do it! Or, if you already have any of the above, how can infuse a new energy into the mix? Now is the time to lean into all forms of communication, especially in the form of writing or speaking!

House 4: This house is a deep house, that focuses on the home, family, personal environment, and foundation of self. Being flavored by Gemini lightens up the energy a bit! You may find the focus is on your family or those closest to you; how has your communication been? Does it need to be improved? Do you need to spend more time together? Also, how's your home environment been feeling lately? Does it need to lighten up? How can you lighten up and let go of what's no longer serving you? Internally this house represents your foundation within yourself. Has it been shaky? How can you stay solid and certain in who you are despite your external circumstances?

House 5: Creativity, joy, hobbies, FUN. She's (or he) flirtyyyy and fun baby. If you're single, now would be a great time to go on dates, or if in a relationship, bring some sexy romance back into it. Be playful and fun, try new things with your partner or yourself, and connect back to your inner child to guide you to the fun. If we were to talk about hot girl or guy summer, this is it. Or, try a new hobby! Try multiple hobbies! What have you been curious about? Now is the season to try things on!

House 6: Daily routines, health and wellness, being of service. What new health or daily routines have you been wanting to try? Let yourself try things on! See what feels good for your body and release what doesn't. Remember, you don't have to fully commit to it, but Gemini loves to sample things. Your health may be a major focus for you this season; lean into it. You may also want to try a new routine around your daily work schedule. Try a new coworking space, rearrange and clear out your office or at-home work environment, or hit a happy hour with coworkers.

House 7: One-on-one relationships, specifically romantic and business partnerships. You could be feeling like you need to communicate more clearly in your romantic partnership, or in a business one. Or, if single, now is a good time to think about what it is you really want out of a romantic partnership. When it comes to relationships or business collaborations, what/who have you been wanting to work with? Try it on! While this is the house of long-term commitments, it's important that you let yourself sample and see what and who you like to work/be with. Otherwise, how will you really know?

House 8: Mental health, suppressed fears and emotions. This is a deep house, and being flavored my Gemini, it may mean that you take a more light-hearted approach to your deepest healing. Which is totally okay! Now would be a good time to try a new healing modality or go to therapy, and see what fits for you. It doesn't have to be so serious either, and you probably prefer it that way. But don't overlook your mental health. Notice what it needs right now, and give yourself space to try out new things when it comes to supporting it.

House 9: Travel, higher education, spiritual and/or religious beliefs. What have you been curious about lately when it comes to your spiritual and/or religious beliefs? Are there new avenues that you've been wanting to pursue, to see what you believe in and what you don't? Try it on! Go to church maybe? If you hate it, that's fine. Do something different. You also may be feeling called to learn something new, and take a new online course or enroll in some sort of education program. Let your curiosity guide you! And if you've been feeling curious about travel, now is a great time for that too.

House 10: Are there new avenues that you've been wanting to explore within your career? Try not to box yourself into one thing when it comes to your professional life. Gemini loves to be involved in a little bit of everything. Let yourself be multifaceted in that way, and let your curiosity be your guide here. You can also lean into your work and social connections to help you pursue any new avenues. This isn't about totally shifting gears, but rather, expanding your horizons; making space for all of your interests to be expressed when it comes to your career.

House 11: Friendships, networking, your big picture visions for your life. What are your big picture visions for your life? Find a like-minded online community or networking group that supports this, and put yourself out there! Make new connections; specifically online as the 11th house rules technology. You also could be feeling like you want to meet new friends, so get out there and socialize, maybe try Bumble BFF, or put yourself in new experiences to meet new people. You may also be thinking about what your bigger visions in your life are. Take time to reflect, write them down, and put them somewhere you can see them on the daily to remind yourself of them so that you can set smaller, tangible goals to get you there.

House 12: Inner peace, intuition, mindfulness. You may find it hard to balance your logic with intuition, but this is a big lesson you came here to learn. Pay attention to your dream space right now, keep a dream journal, and reflect on what your intuition is telling you. From there, allow logic to guide you in following it. Try a new mindfulness practice, or switch up your current one. Allow yourself alone time to be in your own energy, and to do what feels so unique and good to YOU.

Happy Gemini szn.

xo,

Jess

P.S. If you're like me and your Gemini house sits empty (meaning, there are no planets or placements in it), stay tuned as I'm going to send another email breaking down how we can look to our charts to unlock the energy of empty houses. You won't want to miss this. When I made this correlation in my chart as to how Gemini szn has been hitting for me, it blew my mind.
